Arkady Novikov's first restaurant in Kazan opened in a place that is a landmark for the city's residents - on the Black Lake. At Syrovarnya you feel as if you are in the countryside, but with urban comforts and an atmosphere of casual elegance, which is characteristic of all the holding's restaurants in Russia. The place seems to teleport you to the original Italian province - with pastoral postcard landscapes, cosy interiors in bright colours and delicious Italian cuisine. The country house feel is further enhanced by high ceilings, lots of fresh greenery and panoramic windows flooded with sunlight - overlooking park paths and a tranquil pond. The interior harmoniously combines dark furniture, soaring chandeliers with soft lighting and greenery at every table. Every detail of the interior invites you to linger: wicker baskets, vases of flowers, books, lanterns and even milk cans.

My love of haute cuisine began when I was a child. While my parents were away, I did my first experiments.
I consider my grandmother to be my first important mentor. It was she who instilled in me the «on my conscience» and «with love» approach!
After the 9th grade I decided to dedicate my life to this direction and a few years later I became the sous-chef of Leto restaurant.
My favourite dishes are pasta and sauces. I am a bit of a perfectionist in my work: I demand a lot from myself and from others.
