Head Chef
Nikolay Savin
Nikolay was born in a family of creative and hereditary teachers. During his school years, he attended music school and enjoyed learning. His mother loved cooking and created delicious and beautiful dishes. When it came time to decide between being a musician or chef, Nikolay realized that cooking, like music, had its own unique harmony, and he knew this was what he wanted to do in life.
At the age of 18, he started working in restaurants in Barnaul and Belokurikha, in the Altai Republic and Sochi. He became a chef when he was 26 years old. In 2020, he graduated from the ALTSTU named after Polzunov with a degree in catering engineering. While studying, he participated in the tenth Delphic Games in Tver and became a laureate in the culinary art category.
Participating in the «Gastronomic Map of Russia» project, he conducted masterclasses for students in the Altai Republic and acted as a speaker at the international Zavtrak shefa forum. To explore new regions and regional products, he worked at Sochi restaurants that held leading positions in the WHERETOEAT international rating.
Nikolay loves his job and is constantly engaged in self-education. He studies new food production technologies and software aimed at optimizing work processes in restaurants and hotels. He is familiar with cuisines from around the world and regularly improves his skills by attending festivals such as Gastreet, PIR Expo, and Zavtrak Shefa.
His life credo is «Life doesn't give any guarantees, but it provides opportunities».
