Alexey Frolov
Alexey began his culinary career in Ivanovo, graduating from a vocational college as a chef-pastry chef. By the age of 20, he was leading the kitchens of two sushi bars, having completed internships with chefs from Japan and China.
In Moscow, he spent over seven years working with Ginza Project on a variety of gastronomic ventures, exploring European, Georgian, Mediterranean, and Russian cuisines. He collaborated with renowned chefs, including Valentino Bontempi, Walter Bizoffi, and Artyom Mukhin on projects such as Black Swan, Bambule, and Botafogo Bar.
Alexey has been involved in restaurant openings and consulting across Russia, launching projects focused on seafood and Thai cuisine. Today, he leads the kitchen of the flagship Syrovarnya restaurant and is working on a book revealing the behind-the-scenes world of the restaurant industry.
